Hi if you’re waiting on an update for Solace is not a Lullaby I’m so sorry I’m in the trenches rn. I know I warned last chapter it would be late but on top of being busy at work, well today happened.
Sad life update: my childhood dog (lily. yep named after lily potter… she defeated evil with the power of love ok 9 year old me had no idea the name would still be relevant to me) has to be put down next Tuesday. We found out today that there’s no way of saving her and decided to take a few days to say goodbye & so my sister could come home for it. Tuesday we’re all going together.
I wish this was one of those crazy late update excuses because there would be less tears xx
But. I’m okay and really don’t wanna talk about it beyond that.
I’ll probably still work on the story this weekend and may still have an update as planned next week but for obvious reasons the thought of writing something sad when I’m already sad is :((
